Verify a certificate
Every certificate from What's My IQ? has a unique number and a digital signature. Enter the number, or drop in the PDF, to confirm it is genuine.
What a check tells you
Two independent checks, one for the record and one for the file. Either is enough to spot a fake.
- The number is real
- Every certificate number is recorded the moment it is issued. A match confirms the test, the score, the percentile and the dates printed on it.
- The file is the original
- Each PDF we send is digitally signed. If anyone edits the score, the name or anything else, the signature breaks and this page says so.
- The name stays private
- Names are encrypted with a key that only the holder has. We cannot show it here, so compare the printed name with the person presenting the certificate.
For developers
Check certificates from your own systems. The JSON endpoint needs no key, answers requests from any origin and allows 60 lookups an hour from one address. Unknown numbers return status 404.

Add it as a trusted certificate in Adobe Acrobat or any PDF reader and our signatures will show as valid there too.
